Today (23 December 2020), General Prawit Wongsuwan, Deputy Prime Minister, visited an area in Chiang Rai Province to preside over the event "New Year's gift from the government," to give the right to farm under the Sustainable Land Management Project of the Land Bank Administration Institute, LABAI (Public Organization). This project aimed to return the deed to the farmer members, members of the Farmer's Reconstruction and Development Fund as New Year's gifts. There were about 1000 farmers who participated in this project. Some of them received the deed already, and some still are acquiring the deed.
On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Warawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, together with Capt. Thamanat Prompow, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Mr. Jatuporn Buruspat, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Pol.Gen. Chalermkiat Srivorakan, Chairman of the board LABAI, Mr. Prajon pratsakul, the Governor of Chiang Rai Province, as well as the farmer representatives and people in the area welcomed and be the witness for the event of providing the deed for land to farm, at the King's Philosophy Community Enterprises, Watsanghathan, Doi Hang, Muang District Chiang Rai Province.
