Today (October 20th, 2022) at 9:00 a.m., Mr. Jatuporn Burusphat, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (TAT) assigned Mr. Thalergsak Phetcharasuwan, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to be a chairman of the meeting between the Secretariat of the Working Group to scrutinize the projects that are supported by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) at Meeting Room 202, the 2nd floor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This meeting was to present an overview of GEF's framework of support for the 8th cycle (2022-2026), which consists of support for Focal Areas and Integrated Programs. In this regard, the meeting discussed obligations under international conventions that Thailand must implement relating to policies and action plans including considering the improvement of the composition of the working group to be ready for the preparation of the project frameworks and the National Portfolio Formulation Documents of the country.
