In the evening on 18th November 2022, Mr. Varawut Silpa-Acha, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environments, and General Prayuth Chan-O-Cha, the Prime Minister, discussed with Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the occasion that he officially visited Thailand as a special guest of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation 2022 (APEC 2022) at Santimaitri Building, Thai Government House in order to improve the relationship.

The agendas were the cooperation improvements in the political, security, economic, trading and investment, social and cultural, and other aspects in order to provide mutual benefits. The Saudi Vision 2030 and the Middle East Green Initiative were also linked to Thailand's BCG Model in order to support sustainable developments. Moreover, the plan for supporting the relationship between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (B.E. 2565 - 2567) was signed in order to promote the cooperation about natural resources and environments for the purpose of sustainability; the cooperation about climate changes; and the cooperation about geology, knowledge and technologies.

After the discussion, Mr. Varawut Silpa-Acha, the minister, as an honorable minister of the crown prince, and the prime minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, treated the crown prince to the dinner and sent him to his residence.
