Permanent Secretary Jatuporn joins the opening of the Youth Camp...Rak Phong Phrai Commemorating His Majesty the King's 60th Birthday of the Year 2023
Today (February 24th, 2023) at 10:00, Mr. Jatuporn Buruspat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, together with network administrators from 13 organizations, school administrators, and students in the Bangkok area participated in the opening ceremony of the camp the Youth Camp Rak Phong Phrai Commemorating the 60th Birthday Anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn” was honored by Dr. Jarantada Karnasut, Privy Councilor, the Chairman of the Queen Sirikit Park Foundation presided over the project's opening ceremony at Queen Sirikit Park, Chatuchak District, Bangkok.
The camp project "the Youth Camp Rak Phong Phrai Commemorating the 60th Birthday Anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn" has been continuously collaborated among the Queen Sirikit Park Foundation Office of the Basic Education Commission, the Department of Forestry, the Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation, and 13 network partners to focus on raising awareness for students to see the value of being born of love and jointly conserving natural resources and the local environment, as well as being able to develop their own potential and be a good citizen, through camp activities that integrate active learning with all lessons through direct experience from real nature study sites in the area, as well as strengthening teachers and those involved. From 2015 to 2022, 42,451 youths and keynote speakers were able to develop and extend to 2,357 schools.
