Today (19 May 2023) at 11:00 a.m., Mr. Jatuporn Buruspat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE), together with Mrs. Chayanan Phakdeejit, Deputy Permanent Secretary welcomed Dr. Supachai Kaewsiri, Chairman of the Thai SMEs Council and team to discuss cooperation in promoting entrepreneurs in driving Thailand towards a carbon neutral society and promoting entrepreneurs in the use of renewable energy including providing knowledge to entrepreneurs at the meeting room, 17th floor, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

On this occasion, Mr. Jatuporn mentioned the important thing in working together to drive Thailand towards a carbon-neutral society, namely creating awareness and understanding among the people, especially small and medium-sized SMEs entrepreneurs to understand in the same direction. The ministry has assigned the Provincial Office of Natural Resources and Environment to be a coordinator on climate change at the local level and a source of knowledge that entrepreneurs in all areas can access. The objective is to learn and participate in sustainable greenhouse gas management and further strengthen future market capabilities.
