Today (17 October 2023) at 10:00 a.m. Pol. Gen. Patcharawat Wongsuwan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment (Minister of Natural Resources and Environment) along with Mr. Noppadon Phonsen, Secretary to the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Mr. Jatuporn Buruspat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, and the executive team welcomed the team implementing the project "Zero Starving Sea Turtles" - Below the Tides: Zero Starving Sea Turtles. It is led by Mr. Wichai Thongtaeng along with Antonia Po Siew, Miss Universe Thailand 2023, Mr. Arinth Thongtaeng (In), Miss Arisa Thongtaeng (Aem) and the group visited and supported the project implementation. It is to increase the survival chances of sea turtles and restore the balance of the food chain in the underwater world at the lounge, 20th floor, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment building.

On this occasion, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment thanked and praised the project team for starting a good project from a small point to becoming something of interest to a wider audience. In this regard, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment through the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources is ready to support the implementation of the turtle breeding information project, research and presentations to the public to participate in increasing the turtles' chances of survival. Moreover, it is to restore the balance of the marine ecosystem as quickly and efficiently as possible.
