On November 9, 2023 at 9:00 a.m., Mrs. Chayanan Phakdeejit, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment was assigned to head the Thai delegation along with representatives from the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, the Department of Mineral Resources and the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment attended World Ocean Week 2023 and launched the Blue Citizen Initiative at the Xiamen International Ocean Forum at Xiamen Convention Center Hotel, Xiamen, People's Republic of China. It is to support the activities of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the People's Republic of China in promoting people's understanding and participation in protecting and jointly using sustainable sea and ocean resources. It is also beneficial to research operations under the framework of cooperation between Thailand - China in the marine area of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Thailand.
