Jatuporn, MNRE’s Permanent Secretary, Joins Prime Minister's Delegation to France, Fostering Sustainable Investment Opportunities

On May 16, 2024, at 10:50 a.m. in the French Republic, Mr. Jatuporn Buruspat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, joined the delegation led by Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin to visit France. The purpose was to participate in delivering a speech at the Thailand - France Business Forum held at L'Apostrophe Convention Center in Paris. During the forum, they highlighted three investment potentials in Thailand, focusing on transportation, aviation, and digital sectors, with an emphasis on achieving environmental sustainability through Green Transition goals.

Furthermore, during this significant occasion, the delegation engaged in discussions with President Emmanuel Macron of France. The discussions aimed to fortify bilateral relations between the two nations, covering areas such as trade, investment, clean energy, negotiations on visa-free travel within Schengen countries, and tourism. These efforts were directed towards stimulating the economies of both Thailand and France.
