On 21 July 2025, at 5:00 p.m., Mrs. Oranuj Lorphensri, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Acting Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, assigned Ms. Pawinee Na Saiburi, Inspector-General of MNRE, to attend the 2025 Ministry of Tourism and Sports Annual Overview Conference and the 2026 Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Market Promotion Strategy Press Conference held at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok. Mr. Sorawong Thienthong, Minister of Tourism and Sports, presented an overview of Thailand’s tourism industry performance in 2025. He was joined by Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, who outlined the strategic direction and promotional plans for 2026.

MNRE’s participation in this event reflects the growing inter-agency collaboration in promoting sustainable tourism development, aligning with natural resource conservation and environmental protection. This collaboration aims to strike a balance between economic growth, tourism expansion, and long-term national sustainability.
