Chonburi, 1 November 2025 — At 10:30 a.m., Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, presided over the opening ceremony of “Aikchol Health Fair 2025: A New Step You Can Trust” held at the activity hall on the 1st floor of Central Chonburi.
The event was attended by Mr. Naris Niramyawongs, Governor of Chonburi Province; Pol. Lt. Gen. Itthiporn Photthong, Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister; Mr. Surapong Nachai-Rujipong, Assistant Minister attached to the Ministry of Industry; Mr. Surachai Chaiyatrakultong, Chairman of the Advisory Committee to the Deputy Prime Minister; advisors to the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment; Mr. Nipon Chanongsirisak, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; Pol. Maj. Gen. Chatree Suksiri, Commander of Police Region 2 Operations; Dr. Jakkraphan Phongsetthian, Chairman of the Executive Board of Aikchol Hospital; Dr. Nopparuj Phacharachonnath, Director of Aikchol Hospital; Dr. Kesada Chanasawang, Director of Aikchol Ang Sila Hospital; along with members of the medical team and municipal mayors, who all joined the opening ceremony in unity.
The “Aikchol Health Fair 2025: A New Step You Can Trust” was organized to promote public health and to raise awareness about preventive healthcare among the community. Aikchol Hospital, which has stood by the people of Chonburi for more than four decades, collaborated with government agencies and private-sector partners in the province to host socially beneficial activities. These included free basic health screenings, medical consultations, and exhibitions on health-innovation technologies.
Mr. Suchart emphasized that the combined efforts of the public and private sectors represent an important driving force in enhancing the quality of life and public-health systems for the people of Chonburi and Thailand as a whole. He noted that this collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing a “healthy society” in a sustainable and enduring manner.
