19 February 2026, at 1:30 PM – Dr. Raweewan Bhuridej, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE), presided over the award presentation ceremony for the 31st “Valuable Wildlife, Valuable Forests” Photography Contest for the Year 2025. On this occasion, she emphasized the role of corporate social responsibility activities in strengthening public participation toward the sustainable conservation of natural resources.
Also in attendance were Dr. Arch Taolanon, Senior Vice Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group Co., Ltd.; Mr. Chomkitti Sirikul, Executive Vice President, Government Sustainability and Corporate Affairs Business Group, Charoen Pokphand Group; along with executives of Charoen Pokphand Group, executives of the Ministry, and members of the judging committee, who jointly presented the awards at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre.
The “Valuable Wildlife, Valuable Forests” Photography Contest has been organized continuously for 31 years under the collaboration between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and Charoen Pokphand Group. The project reflects over three decades of public–private cooperation in cultivating awareness of conservation, providing a platform for the public and youth to convey the value of wildlife, forests, and marine ecosystems through the power of photography that reaches society at large.
The project has received royal patronage whereby Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, The Princess Royal, graciously grants the Royal Trophy for the “Valuable Wildlife” category, and Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana graciously granted the Royal Trophy for the “Valuable Forests” category, representing the highest honor for award recipients nationwide.
For this year’s results, the winner of the “Valuable Wildlife” category is the photograph titled “Running for the Family” by Mr. Jakkrit Trongdee, and the winner of the “Valuable Forests” category is the photograph titled “Abundance” by Mr. Thanakiat Theerakan, both of which profoundly reflect the beauty and significance of Thailand’s ecosystems.
On this occasion, Dr. Raweewan expressed her appreciation to the private sector, the judging committee, and the mass media for their continued support in advancing environmental missions. She also extended congratulations to the award recipients and commended the works, which not only portray the beauty of Thailand’s forests and wildlife but also serve as academic contributions that communicate knowledge and empirical evidence, fostering awareness and reflecting the value of natural resources. Natural resources cannot be created on their own and require serious cooperation from all sectors—government, private sector, and youth alike—to jointly protect and safeguard them.
The public is cordially invited to visit the exhibition and to be a vital force in the sustainable conservation of the nation’s natural resources through these distinguished photographic works, presented in exhibition formats, printed publications, and online media. The selected photographs are on display at the Exhibition Hall, 1st Floor, and 3rd Floor of the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre from 17 February to 1 March 2026.
