MNRE’s Permanent Secretary Joins the Royal Audience for the 2026 Royal Songkran Ceremony to Preserve Thai Traditions

APRIL 15, 2026, 05:00 PM — His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua graciously commanded General His Royal Highness Prince Chalermsuk Yugala to represent His Majesty in performing royal duties for the Royal Songkran Ceremony, Buddhist Era 2569, at Ho Phra Nak within the Grand Palace. On this occasion, Dr. Raweewan Bhuridej, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE), joined the royal audience to express loyalty and participate in the preservation of Thailand's noble traditions. The Royal Songkran Ceremony is considered a significant annual royal rite held on the occasion of the Thai New Year to bestow auspiciousness upon the country and its citizens, with government agencies placing great importance on and remaining ready to conserve and pass on Thai cultural traditions for future generations.
