In the opportunity of the govern inspection area and the Cabinet meeting at Ratburi and Kanchanaburi Provinces, today (11 November 2019) at the Gymnasium of Ratburi Province, H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand gave the honor to be the chairman and witness of the ceremony to grant a permission to use or live in the National Reserved Forest. This project aims to organize arable land for communities following significant government policies in the central region of Thailand. H.E. Varawut Silpa-archa, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment granted a letter to two provincial governors for permission to utilize the land in 4 locations within 8,390-2-25 rai to citizens to utilize for 552 families.

               The land management project for communities is arranged regarding the government policy announced to the National Legislative Assembly on Friday, 12 September 2014. The announced policy is about to generate balance between conservation and sustainable use which will allocate lands for poor people who do not have their own land for farming and housing by providing permission to utilize the government lands without providing land ownership in the form of total plot, co-operative, or other suitable forms. It will be operated under the National Land Policy Committee (NLPC) Policy, which is chaired by the Prime Minister of Thailand. According to the policy, the Royal Forestry Department responding for the National Reserved Forest, provides the permission to operate the project for arraignment the lands for farming and housing to the communities regarding the government policy at 4 location in 2 provinces within 8,390-2-25 rai as the following areas: 

1.      The permission letter to utilize or reside in the National Reserved Forest (FR. 23 Form), for permission to Ratchaburi Province to utilize and live in the National Reserved Forest at Khao Bin Forest, in Pak Chong Sub-district, at Chom Bueng District, Ratchaburi Province to operate the project of farming and housing to communities for 231-1-01 rai.

2.      The permission letter to utilize or reside in the National Reserved Forest (FR. 23 Form), for permission to Ratchaburi Province to utilize and live in the National Reserved Forest at Khao Kruat and Khao Phlong Forest, in Hin Kong Sub-district, at Mueang Ratchaburi District, Ratchaburi Province to operate the project of farming and housing to communities for 129-1-48 rai.  

3.      The permission letter to utilize or reside in the National Reserved Forest (FR. 23 Form), for permission to Kanchanaburi Province to utilize and live in the National Reserved Forest at Khao Phra Reu-see and Khao Bo Rae Forest, in Tha Khanun and Khao Chalae Sub-district, at Thong Pha Phum District, and in Prang Phle Sub-district, at Sangkhlaburi District, Kanchanaburi Province to operate the project of farming and housing to communities for 6,576-2-85 rai.

The permission letter to utilize or reside in the National Reserved Forest (FR. 23 Form), for permission to Kanchanaburi Province to utilize and live in the National Reserved Forest at Don Saesob and Lao Khwan Forest, in Nong Nok Kaew, Nongpring, and Nong Fai Sub-district, at Lao Khwan District, Kanchanaburi Province to operate the project of farming and housing to communities for 1,453-1-18 rai.
