Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment held a meeting to prepare for organizing an international academic conference in accordance with the Royal aspiration of "continue, preserve, and build upon."

The meeting to prepare for organizing an international academic conference on sustainable highland agriculture development in accordance with the Royal aspiration of continue, preserve, and build upon the Royal Projects.

Today (1 December 2019) Mr. Chatuporn Burutpat, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment honored as a chair of the operation committee meeting organizing the international academic conference on sustainable highland agriculture development following the Royal aspiration of continue, preserve, and build upon the Royal Projects, no. 4/2019 at the Sri Trang meeting room, 2nd floor, Exhibition Building 1, Royal Flora Ratchapruek Park (International Horticulture), Mae Hia Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District, in Chiang Mai Province. The objective of this meeting is to follow up with the work progress of several sections of working group committees, including operating, academic, conference, exhibition, venue, site visiting, and coordinating sections. 

In this regard, the international academic conference on sustainable highland agriculture development in accordance with the royal aspiration of continues, preserves, and builds upon the Royal projects will be held during 22 – 24 December 2019 at Royal Flora Ratchapruek Park (International Horticulture), Mae Hia Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District, in Chiang Mai Province. This event aims to honor the 50th anniversary of His Majesty the late King Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej Boromarajbophit Royal Project and in honor of the King Vajiraklao that has a royal desire to continue, preserve, and build upon the Royal projects for the benefit and happiness. It is also to disseminate the works of highland development of the Royal Projects over 50 years that is corresponding to the UN's sustainable development goals (SDGs) as well as the knowledge and experience exchange among experts, academics, and practitioners from international organizations and many other countries.
