The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment collaborates with the private network partners of leading department stores and famous convenient stores nationwide, and countdowns to say goodbye to plastic bags. They together announce, "Seven days say goodbye to plastic bags."

Today (25 December 2019) at 10.00, H.E. General Prawit Wongsuwan, Deputy Prime Minister, is a chair to give an opening speech for the campaign 7 days countdown to stop providing single-use plastic bags from 1 January 2019. This event is called "Seven days say goodbye to plastic bags," which H.E. Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment provides information of the background and overview of activities "Every Day Say No to Plastic Bags." Participants in this event include the representatives from the private network partners together with officers, executives, and staff under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, mass media, artists, actors, and public more than a thousand of people joining the event today at the Emquartier Department Store.
