Today (10 January 2020), H.E. Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, was a chairman of the meeting of Subcommittee on Driving of Proposing Kaeng Krachan Forest Areas to be a World Heritage, No 1/2020, at room 204, Parliament building (Kiak Kai). In this meeting, Mr. Jatuporn Buruspat, the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, the head of Thai representatives on the World Heritage Convention, together with Chief Executives, government officers, and officers from Office Of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning, Department of National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, Department of Treaties and Legal Affairs, Bureau of the Budget, and representatives from other organizations attended the meeting to consider the progress of pushing Kaeng Krachan Forest Areas to be registered as a World Heritage.
