Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment responds to the government’s policy on the solutions of deforestation and forest resources restoration forest, as well as adding forest areas in the country. H.E. Mr. presided over the project and planted trees and woodland in honor of the Royal Coronation of King Rama X, B.E. 2019, and National Forest Conservation Day, B.E. 2020 (14 January). This activity was organized by Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, Department of Forestry, and Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation together with Phetchaburi Province and other related organizations in the area of Moo 3, Pak Talay Subdistrict, Ban Leam District, Phetchaburi province more than 10 Rai. This area was the degraded mangrove forest, and this activity will bring abundant forest again to maintain natural balance and usage for proper use and sustainable live together with the forest.

Today (13 January 2020) at 3 PM., H.E. Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, presided over the project and activity planting trees and reforestation in honor of the Royal Coronation of King Rama X, B.E. 2019 and National Forest Conservation Day, B.E. 2020 (14 January 2020). The Ministry of MNRE granted the permission letter of resident land management according to the project of the National Land Policy Committee (NLPC) to the Governor of Phetchaburi Province and provided sports equipment to schools, visited exhibitions. Moreover, the Minister joined the car parade of mangrove planting and released aquatic species together with local people and participants, including Mr. Yutthaphon Ankinandana, Advisor to the Minister of MNRE, Mr. Jatuporn Buruspat, Permanent Secretary of Natural Resources and Environment, and Exclusives under MNRE. In this activity, the Governor of Phetchaburi Province, soldiers, polices, and Local Government Organizations, government sectors, private sectors, volunteers, students, collegians, volunteers to protect the sea, and local people welcomed and attended over 1,700 people.

The Minister of MNRE gave a speed that he is delightful and proud to be in the Phetchaburi Province area and happy to see youth and people and every sector joining planting trees today. Because everyone defines the future of our children to grow up in how the environment is, and the participation of everyone today will not waste. Our children can see the abundant forest and appreciate our dedication to taking care of our natural resources for them. Therefore, the MNRE has operated reforestation projects, which now participants were joining planting trees more than 12 million trees. The Minister of MNRE also stated that this year in several areas of Thailand are facing drought, which it will be severe than the past several years. Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment by Department of Water Resources and Department of Groundwater Resources will ultimately proceed with all solutions. Additionally, the Minister of MNRE said thanks to exclusives of MNRE, officers, and all public, as well as he will support the Governor of Phetchaburi Province and other related organizations to work on the preserve and protect natural resources and environment.
