Today (17 March 2020) at 14.00 at 301 meeting room, H.E. Mr. Warawut Silpa-Archa, Minister of the Natural Resources and Environment, is a chairman of the meeting on the supporting operation of protection and monitor the COVID-19 together with the chief exclusive of MNRE to join the meeting. Minister of the Natural Resources and Environment informs at the meeting related the results of the Cabinet meeting regarding measures for preparing to encounter and control the spread of the COVID-19.

The Cabinet Resolution is closing entertainment places, boxing stadiums, schools, universities, academies, massage parlors, horse-racing stadiums, movie theaters, and venues gathering people together. The Resolution also includes prohibiting the activities that have people more than 50 people in Bangkok and the provinces surrounding Bangkok, and 100 people in provincial areas.

For the operating guideline regarding the mission of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Chief Exclusive at the Department level should consider as appropriate, including working with time-lapse, meeting by video conference, working from home. However, the officers have to have accomplishments, clear KPI, and work progress as the policies of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, especially disbursement, which is essential for developing society and stimulating the economy. Every organization needs to operate accurately and efficiently.
