Today (25 September 2020), Dr. Yuthapol Angkinan, Advisor to the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, presided over the closing ceremony of ACE Youth Camp 2020, a project under the cooperation between the Department of Environmental Quality Promotion and Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO. The Camp received financial support from the Global Environment Facility: GEF) through the United Nations Development Programme; UNDP. Dr. Yuthapol also provided certificates to youth leaders who have completed the training for 60 people and listened to the creative ways of adjusting environmentally friendly behavior and ways of reducing greenhouse gas with youth as a driving force at the Ari Samphan Meeting Room, Department of Environmental Quality Promotion Building.

The Minister's Advisor said that “this activity is regarded as achieving the objective of being a youth leader in climate change and a leader of low-carbon youth of Thailand. The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Mr. Warawut Silpa-archa, is ready to support youth leaders on climate change activities. This activity will lead to a strong drive to reduce greenhouse gas emissions of the country and the world more effectively and achieve youth goals as a major power. The ACE Youth Camp 2020 is the beginning of the mission emphatically leader of the youth and leaders of low-carbon youth of Thailand in driving and building networks with adults in all sectors willing to support the inspired power of the youth.”
