Today (18 January 2021) at 13:30 hrs., H.E. Mr. Warawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, along with Mr. Jatuporn Buruspat, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, executive officers, and related government officials attended the National Committee Meeting. This meeting was for preparation for the APEC Leadership meeting and related meeting when Thailand hosted the meeting in 2022. The meeting organized via a video conference system at the 17th floor meeting room at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment building. General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister, was the Chairman of the meeting. The meeting informed the policy of preparation, operation, time frame, and progress and consideration and approval of the plan for organizing the ministerial level and senior officials meeting when Thailand hosted the 2022 APEC meeting. Additionally, the panel also appointed sub-committees in several fields to ensure the implementation of the business operations to promote free trade and investment and move towards a digital society, well-being, food and agriculture security, sustainable and responsible growth.
